Why “Go North”?

I felt lost as a new mom.

My daughter was born during my last year of college. Between having a newborn, finishing school, and working my part-time student job, I was very busy, but my purpose was clear.

Then, I graduated. Suddenly, I was a mom. Just a mom. Not to say that being a mom is easy or purposeless. Quite the opposite, actually. But while my husband continued to progress in his career and his hobbies while still being a husband and a dad, I felt stuck in one place. Lost. Confused about my purpose.

I did not know who I was or what I even liked to do anymore because being a wife and mom were my first and only priorities.

I knew something had to change.

Go Forth. Go North. means that despite the challenges of motherhood, there is always light ahead. We are meant to shine as women, and motherhood should enhance our light, not hinder it.

Come with me on my never-ending quest to find direction, hope, strength, and purpose in motherhood.

Love, Molly
Go Forth. Go North.
